What's Happening?
Some of ya have been here before and know Joey Vee. For those of ya that haven't, we'll give ya a little rundown here to get you acquainted..
Joey Vee was born deep in the bayou of Louisiana to a hairy French Cajun woman known as "Grosporche" (literally translated into English as "fat pig"). Joey's older brother, Mudpoke (shown here on Santa's knee) grew up to be a salesman for used gynecological equipment. Being raised in the backwaters of Louisiana, Joey grew up with mostly animals as friends. He learned to communicate with alligators, bears, wolves, cranes, hawks, deer, and certain kinds of turtles. The one animal he never learned to speak to (but was most interested in) was sheep. One of his first memories was that of feeling very full while cuddling with a sheep.
Ah, yes, those fascinating sheep! Joey dreamed night and day that one day he would make a fine, young sheep his own! But enough of that, we digress. At the age of eight, Mama Grosparche Vee became seriously ill, and within three months, she passed on. Joey's kindly Grandma and Grandpa took over the duties of raising the young boy. The moment she left this life, Joey was overcome with a strange sensation that he didn't yet understand... he became overwhelmingly interested in women and beer! Unfortunately, it was 30 years until he was able to combine both of these obsessions into reality (here's a picture of Joey bein' suave and pickin' up a little honey..), and that's how Joey Vee's Bar & Grill was born!
